Seized Injector Removal
Specialist removal of heavily seized diesel injectors using purpose-made and hydraulic tooling where required.
Mobile specialist removal of seized and broken injectors, broken glow plugs, snapped studs and bolts, broken taps, drill bits, Easy-Outs and stud extractors, damaged thread repairs and injector clamp-bolt repairs. We also supply a wide range of new and used engine parts.
Our focus is difficult extraction and repair work around the engine and cylinder head. The aim, where technically possible, is to solve the problem in situ and avoid unnecessary major dismantling.
Specialist removal of heavily seized diesel injectors using purpose-made and hydraulic tooling where required.
Extraction of snapped and damaged injectors, including jobs where normal removal methods are no longer possible.
Removal of seized, snapped and broken glow plugs, including difficult jobs with restricted access.
Drilling and extraction of snapped manifold studs, clamp bolts and other broken engine fasteners.
Specialist removal of hardened broken taps, snapped drill bits, Easy-Outs, screw extractors and stud extractors, including difficult jobs after a previous removal attempt has failed.
Re-threading and specialist thread repair where sufficient sound material remains, including injector clamp-bolt repairs.
We travel to garages, workshops and suitable job sites so the difficult specialist work can often be completed where the vehicle already is.
A hardened tool snapped inside an engine component can turn an ordinary repair into a highly specialised extraction job. We undertake precision removal of broken taps, drill bits, Easy-Outs, screw extractors and stud extractors from cylinder heads, engine components, studs and threaded holes.
We also take on difficult recovery work where drilling or extraction has already been attempted and a hardened tool has subsequently broken inside the component. Where technically practicable, the aim is to remove the obstruction while preserving the surrounding component, followed by re-threading or thread repair where required.

Our normal mobile working area is up to around a 90-mile radius from Leeds. We will consider jobs further away where travel time, access and the expected job duration make it practical to complete the work within the day.
Outside the normal area? Send your postcode and the job details. Longer-distance work is considered individually.
Difficult extraction jobs can vary considerably depending on engine type, access, corrosion, previous attempts and what has actually broken. Photos are extremely useful.

Some damaged components are already weakened before we arrive. Previous drilling, welding, broken taps, drill bits, Easy-Outs or other extractors, damaged threads or restricted access can materially change the method and time required. Any quotation or estimate should therefore be based on the information supplied and the condition found on attendance.
